From these pictures can it be determined that this is a cracked planchet? What are some of the diagnostics to determine a garage / workbench piece from a mint production problem?

I attempted to follow the rules for uploading pictures.

Thanks in advance for the advice. 1408031710_0.jpg 1408031712_1.jpg 1408031714_2.jpg 1408031715_3.jpg

In my opinion, its a cracked planchet. I wouldn't know where to begin in my garage if I wanted to make a coin crack, with no other noticeable damage.

To authenticate it (and I agree; it's a cracked planchet) it would be best to send it to a TPG.

Usually, and I stress usually, a cracked planchet is a very good indicator that a coin is authentic. And yes, that is definitely a cracked planchet.
