I went diggin in the dirt today at an old farmhouse and found some keepers. A picture of the entire haul. Found 3 Indian heads. 1908, 1887 and a real nice 1864 as shown. I have a question about the 1864 reverse. When the coin is flipped directly over with the date at the 6:00 position the back is in the position as seen in the photo. Usually when ya flip a Indian over the "one cent" is able to be read correclty and straight across. Whats up with this coin?

Found a buffalo nickel and a couple silver plus a kinda semi key date 1915 S wheatie. Was fun to dig in the dirt here in Michigan. Real warm weather for Oct.

P.S. I could only add five pic files so I could not show the entire haul. Oh well.

The 1864 was struck with a rotated die. Not rare but really cool. Nice group of finds.
