    All but the 1899 Split planchet were from auctions. Either Heritage or Stacks-Bowers.

    Yes, I did - one set of images seemed light - then the second set showed an unnaturally toned pair of fakes. I would imagine
    that they used some base metal instead of nickel.

    Then it would be a double error (off-metal and off center) to make someone's error collection more perfect. :D
