Nice original color on the 09 too... nice coin. Might be worth the slab fee.

Not into the RPM, but you can send me that 09 anytime you want. If that has a shot at 66, you ought to slab it, imho.

    Thank you all.
I am considering sending in the 09 for grading.

Both are nice coins...especially the 1909-P VDB! The 1954-S appears to be a "S" over "S" over "S" but my first thoughts was that it was a "S" over "S" over "D". Thanks for sharing!

that 09 is beautiful red, how much did it set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

    One SWEET VDB there Roto.

Not much into the 54 but still a nice coin.

Gotta agree with the others. The VDB is slab material if you're going to slab.

    Thanks Guys !
    :)

I don't mind telling what I pay, as I never intend to sell my coins.
Well, maybe at retirement or if some CRAZY big offer is made.

I paid $22.50 for the VDB and $5 for the RPM.
    :D

    hamman88 Spare some change, sir?

Doh! I paid the same for my ms63 RB vdb.

It was listed as an "S" over "S".
I will have to put it under the microscope and get back with you.

I looked under the scope and I can't honestly determine.
I'll have to research the RPMs a little.
