Here are a couple of double eagles. I'd debating whether to send the 1904 in to ANACS. It's a common date but it's in SWEET shape. 64, maybe 65 I think! the rin ding might detract some though Bone Here is a better pic of the reverse of the 04.
Very nice coins. I know that many people think the saint is the most beautiful coin ever minted, but I think the reverse of the liberty has a much nicer design, and I prefer that coin overall. It would probably help the resale value to have the liberty slabbed.
The Lib obverse looks like it may have been wiped or lightly cleaned. So if you do decide to have it slabbed - you might want to go with the economy pricing tier just in case.
Remember I'm using that stupid camera with the 10,000 watt flash. NONE of those marks are visable with the naked eye. All my gold coins look like crap using it but the silver looks oK??? Bone
I guess I should have been more specific.Sometimes silver coins do look better using a flash.Otherwise, unless you're outdoors or using halogen lights, they tend to look like gold or brass.Using a flash with gold however, causes them to look like shiny brass tokens and overly accentuates the flaws. But I must admit that the photos you posted on this thread look great!
ARRRRGH, I feel like pulling my hair out over this. When I bought the 04 I got it from VCoins and cracked it out of a 63 PCGS rattler. I won't go into my reasons but it had to do with a bottle of Wild Turkey, LOL Bone Make that a 63 if I recall correctly
