Got these as a part of a set. The first is a 1931-S semi-key date with what I think is a ragged clip and a tiny lamination on the obverse. The second is a 1914 with a pretty big lamination error.
My question is on the harshly cleaned third one, a 1909-S. Is this the S/S inverted mintmark variety? Thanks, everyone!

I think you are supose to buy the book before the coin. You are doing this all wrong.

Perhaps this will sink into my thick head eventually. In the meantime, keep sending those reminders, everyone! :woot:

I'm unfamiliar with the term "ragged clip" but that first one makes me think of post mint damage because the letters are worn down at the site of the clip. Just pointing out what I see, sorry I can't add more to the questions you've asked.
