I got this $1 bill in change at the post office today. Above John Snow's signature is a counterstamp that says "Notarial Seal State of Ohio." Has anyone else come across anything like this?

    That's an odd find.
I'm new to collecting, so I'd have no idea of value, sorry.
But no, I have not seen a dollar with a state seal before. Is it indented or printed?

    It is indented.

Some notary with more spare time than brains embossed his seal on the bill. That makes it worth $1 in trade.[IMG]
