Counterfeit Morgans?

I'm pretty new to coin collecting but I'm pretty sure these coins are counterfeit. They just don't look right at all, especially the dates.

They look like the same coin to me.

Edit: It is the same coin. It was sold earlier today.

 

And now he's selling it again, as there are five days left on the first item.

As far as being counterfeit... well, I'll leave that to the experts. One thing for sure, what the seller calls "high grade" might be stretching the truth a little, lol.

 

I'd say at the very least they have been cleaned. With Drain-o. And a wire brush.

 

It's a fake . IMHO The date is wrong , also look at the eagles left wing , where it doesn't join the body . It's obviously made with a transfer die were that area didn't transfer fully to the die .

They did a terrible job with the lettering.

 

That's just one area , but a good one . I wonder if they scrubbed it to take peoples eyes away from the things they didn't get right . I'd love to see the 3rd side , ie rim to see the reeding .
