The more I study coins, the more different kinds I want. Even counterfeits and errors. But counterfeit errors don't quite interest me or probably anyone else. Using common sense, it seems that counterfeit errors would be the easiest to make...as long as you have a good story behind the error. Put it on the train tracks....hammer it into another coin...etc. Are there many fakes out there? Are there any books that tell you how to know which errors are natural?
