Counterfeit 1898 CC Morgan Dollar

    Carson City Morgans were never minted in 1898, so this is a pretty easy one to take down. Interestingly enough, this one has quite a bit of circulation.

    Nah, I think it was made that way. Looks plated; if it had actually circulated, more of the base metal would be showing through. Just a low-quality modern fake, I think.
