Could this be a cud?

Meow has found a penny with a small die break on the edge. It actually does not reach the edge, but it goes right against the rim. Would this be considered a cud, or not? WIN_20190126_16_22_05_Pro.jpg WIN_20190126_16_22_16_Pro.jpg

Your Cent is a Copper Plated Zinc planchet. I'm thinking some plating bubble issue.

Meow just poked at it with a toothpick, and it did not move like a zinc bubble. It looks pretty solid. How can Meow be sure about it?

It's more than a cat could understand.
