Hey everyone, Belgium 19 francs 1971 The whole coin looks off, some harilines raised almost like a die crack. I´m not sure about this still learning. Anyone willing to give it a go. Siggi Around the flags has another texture and some lines i´m pointing out
To me, this looks like the phenomenon that's quite common on our 100% nickel and nickelplated coins. I've heard people explaining it could have something to do with the titaniumplating of the dies. After a while, that starts to chip, especially between legends and the rim. I don't know if that is plausible, but it does sound interesting. Jos
They are common, and don't command a premium. No use trying to sell them. You'd better keep it as an interesting piece. Jos
What I see on the date is extreme machine doubling and you have some die chips along with possible die breaks not an unusuale ocurances on a coin , there could be a premium for your coin with some minor errors on it. Joe
Thank you just coins, So would you think this is a premium coin ? There are some more errors on it and it seems to have doubling on the shield as well. But the back is ok Siggi
Well if you sell it on ebay you may get something for it but not much maybe a couple of dollars. The errors you have on your coin are minor it;s not a high value coin Sorry Joe
