I came across a 2002 Ohio quarter and the color of it is unique. I'm not sure if its been around something that has changed its appearance or if its an error. Does anyone know? I am very new to this but am already becoming addicted. Just trying to get more knowledgeable. Thanks for any information. Sorry the picture is blurry, i've got to get a better camera that will actually focus up close!! :)

Turn your electric stove on high and place a quarter on it, watch it turn a similar color, then black.
Now dip it in Acetone rinse with distilled water and WA-la!

Either that or electroplate it with copper.

Unless you've got some better quality photos (which prove otherwise) this is probably the case.

    Sorry :(

Better - in focus, well-lit - photos are a must for us to help you.
