Copper liberty I think

Discussion in 'Coin Chat' started by Plumbingbymike, Sep 17, 2022.

  1. I have this coin that I can't find anywhere. The reverse is not something I can find. Any help would be appreciated. IMG_20220917_185617946.jpg

That’s a generic copper round. And one of the nicer copper rounds I have seen.

Just a 1 ounce copper round. Not a coin by any means. I have several hundred of them, all different designs. They are considered copper bullion.

Yep -- with a current bullion value of over twenty CENTS. (But not as much as 25 cents.)

Anyone care to venture a guess as to the premium over melt that it originally sold for? (I'm guessing I can beat it -- one of my old eBay lots came with a few one-GRAM copper "bars", and an original receipt indicating that someone paid a couple of bucks each for them.)

Not sure but you can buy 1 ounce copper rounds and bars for under $2.00.
