copper dime 2 .18 grams

    Found a copper a dime even on the edge where the reeding is there's no clad both sides are mint full torch full bands no corrosion at all is there such a thing just noticed the die Clash get the torch and you got one of the olive leaves on Roosevelt's nose the torch is right next to it right next to Roosevelt

    Looks like it has been in the ground for a while. Environmental "toning"/damage. Appears to be a clash mark, but really can't tell from the photo.

    Incorrect. Your Dime has environmental exposure toning. Not a mint error.

    Here are many of my metal detecting finds where the clad is toned due to long time exposure to dirt, sand, soil and the elements.

    Clad is Cupronickel. Meaning that they are a mixture of copper and nickel. Nickels are also cupronickel. The copper tones dark over time.

    A true Missing clad layer usually only occurs just on one side.
