i found 2 bills with intersting serial numbers. they are both $1 bills. the first bill has a serial number of 88892877. and the second bill has a serial number of 53197399. since that one has only odd numbers, i think it is coll. i have already looked these up on cool numbers, and just wanting to get an opinion!:goofer:
The odd numbered is a little cool, but imo the other one looks to be a four of a kind and a pair. John
Nice finds! No stars today I would say, lol. But awesome finds! What are the dates? Probably 2003A, but just curious. Phoenix
yep, there both 2003As. i wonder how long it will take the mint to stop making 2003 bills. when they stop making them, i bet there will be 2003A bills circulating forever!
yep, i saw that on the uspapermoney website. it will be nice to see the 2006 instead of the 2003! why are they making them 2006 when they are printing in 2007? they started printing them in march, so thats obviously 2007.
checkout coolnumbers.com and it will rate your #'s.................someone on this forum told me about the site last year...............it's cool
because the design change with the new treasuer was in 2006, so the series was authorized in 2006... rememberm, the series date is the date of authorization, NOT the date of printing ....
oh, thanks! i wonder how long it will be untill we see the 2006's. i'm going to save an uncirculated one just for keepers. i'm sure the 2003's will be around for a while.
