cool register find!

in the register at my work a few days ago i was giving out change when i noticed something really shiny in the quarter slot. When I got one of my managers to open the drawer I pulled out a 1977 s proof quarter. It has some dings so I know the value isn't great, but I was still excited. There are still great finds to be had!!

Very cool, never found a proof in circulation or even in roll searching. Best I did though was to get a 1901 IHC at a fast food place a few years ago and a 1907 IHC in roll searching for wheat cents :thumb:

 

I found a cameo penny once in a roll.

 

I have found five proofs searching half dollar rolls lately. They are very cool to find!

I think with the tough economy, lots of proof (and old) coins will be seeing circulation.
