Got this nickle back in my change. It's gold with a hologram on the back? Any ideas?

value: 5c. I'd keep it if I came across it though.

Someone paid way too much to buy something off of tv or from the back of a cheap magazine is what it is. Keep it as a curiousity OP but it has no numismatic value.

You could probably sell it on Ebay for a dollar. It's worth a nickel.

That looks like a very fun coin to receive in change. I would like to know who, and why anyone spent that. I would keep it and maybe even frame it.

Probably was priceless to the original unknowing buyer but there is more and more of this going on all over than at anytime since I started collecting 48 years ago. Littleton Coin still does this though and really should not considering their "Sterling" reputation. As does Mystic Stamp Co. which I think is owned by Littleton. They are big on stickered coins, all of which are a good idea to stay away from if you want to spend your money wisely. But found in circulation, I'd keep it as a curiosity piece.

I like it better with it gold plated and the hologram then the original by the Mint!
