I saw that. I'd rather have one that gives me the perks, (cash back, air miles, etc.) but I'm greedy like that. For the record, I do not have any credit cards at this time, nor have I ever. I'm always checking them out though in case I find one with agreeable terms.
I love credit cards. I buy just about everything with my credit card and pay it off at the end of the month. My two cards not only gave me a sign up bonus, but also give me cash back on every purchase. I have not paid one penny in fees or interest, but have received hundreds of dollars of cash back. Credit cards can be wonderful as long as you're careful with your credit.
Ken Hallenbeck (Tom's father) is a past president of the ANA. In addition to coins, Ken collected credit cards. I used to send him cards from local merchants for his collection. BTW, I am having trouble posting a new thread today. If the problem persists then I will report it to a moderator tomorrow. I had to trick the CT software into letting me post this message by clicking on "reply" to aubades21's post.
I wouldn't want a credit card that announces to every single person who handles or sees it that I might collect coins. I see no upside and only security risk downsides.
