Cool Contest Idea

Hey guys,
I had a cool contest idea that I use to be a part of in another forum that was not dealing with coins.
We would give a week or so to let everyone sign up that wanted to be a part of the contest. At the end of the sign up period, the Op would randomly select a person for everyone who signed up and then that person was responsible to find out a little about the person they got and either send them something that they collected or something out of there own collection. We set a minimum value of say $20 so everyone would get something worth while.
This built a real comradory in the forum and it also made each other learn about the person that the reieved.
I would be glad to orgnize the first one if some people are interested in doing this. We did this about once a quarter and had a lot of fun doing it.
Let me know what you guys think. I think it would be a lot of fun here and a lot of people would really enjoy.

Come on guys. There has to be some more people on here that would think this would be a fun and good idea for the forum. Especially some of you guys that have been around for a while.

 

I think it's a very cool idea. Nice way to build commradery (sp?) and get to know people a little more.

 

I agree but we need to have enaough people to make it fun as well. :high5:Normally we need at least 20 people so it can go around. It is not that big a investment to get something for someone for around $20 and in return get something back for the same thing.
I really thought we would see some of the veterans liking this idea and wanting to jump in. Hopefully they just havent seen the thread yet and will still want to be a part of it.:eating:

Lets leave it open for a couple days and get around 20 or so people and then I will make a list and PM everyone there names. When you get your PM would you please respond back so I can make sure you are still on for playing and the person you recieved will be taken care of.

 

Ok guys, I started a list. We need at least 20 people to make this fun. Still waiting on some of you senior member guys to join the fun. I will add people as they say they want to play. Lets have a bunch of people do this to make it interesting.

 

The only thing with me is putting a minimum on something..I think there should be a set price so one person doesnt spend more or less than someone else. It keeps a even playing field.
