I aquired this coin at auction as part of a lot. I'm not much of an ancient collector, but I wanted to know if anyone could confirm the information that was written on the 2x2.

    Here's what it said:

    -----
    Constantinuspfaug
    Constantine I
    307-337 A.D.
    -----

    And on the other side:

    -----
    Gloria Exercitus
    SMTS Thessolonica Mint
Two soldiers stand with two standards between them
    -----

Does anyone have any idea of the value as well?

It was part of a lot which cost me $15, so I don't think I did too bad. ;)

I was just wondering if it was worth selling or would I just be embarassing myself!

Yor coin is actually Constantine II. The obverse is CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C. It is a very common coin, and not in great shape. Value depends on who is buying...I wouldn't pay more than a dollar or two for this coin.
