Constantine I Londinium mint. AE3 Follis, 307-337 AD, 3.3g, 20mm OBV: IMP CONSTANTINVS P AVG, Cuirassed bust right? REV: SOLINVIC-TO COMITI, Sol standing left, chlamys falling from left shoulder, holding globe, right hand raised. Mintmark PLN. REF: Pending
Like the shadow. Adds interest. I found another Con I from London: CONSTANTINE I AE3 Follis OBVERSE: IMP CONSTANTINVS AVG, helmeted, cuirassed bust left, spear over far shoulder REVERSE: VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP, two Victories standing facing holding shield inscribed VOT/PR on altar decorated with diamond (Helv. 2a), PLN in ex. Struck at London 319-20 AD 2.8g, 20mm RIC VII 159
Londinium coins are definitely nice, but not so much this OP coin. I think it was a flat strike to begin with out of the mint.
Another total winner, my friend ... I love the Sol reverse Oh, and very sweet green eye-appeal on this new keeper
