Const. Gallus - Alexandrian FTR

    I have just received my fourth FTR horseman type from Alexandria for Constantius Gallus. I now have one for each of his issues as they progress. My latest is the second coin below but I have placed it in the chronological order in which they were issued....

    Constantius Gallus - AE2

    Obv:– DN CONSTANTI-VS NOB CAES, Bare, bust draped and cuirassed right
    Rev:– FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO, Soldier spearing fallen horseman, who is bare headed, reaching back towards the emperor
    Minted in Alexandria (G|_//ALED),
    Reference:– RIC VIII Alexandria 74 corr. (C2)

    Constantius Gallus - AE2

    Obv:– DN CONSTANTI-VS NOB CAES, Bare, bust draped and cuirassed right; Delta behind bust
    Rev:– FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Soldier spearing fallen horseman, who is wearing a Phrygian cap, reaching back towards soldier
    Minted in Alexandria (// ALED),
    Reference:– RIC VIII Alexandria 77 (C2)

    Obv:– DN CONSTANTI-VS NOB CAES, Bare, bust draped and cuirassed right
    Rev:– FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Soldier spearing fallen horseman, who is bare headed, reaching back towards soldier
    Minted in Alexandria (Dot S Dot | _ // ALEA),
    Reference:– RIC VIII Alexandria 79 var (Horseman is bare headed instead of wearing a cap)

    Constantius Gallus - AE3

    Obv:– DN CONSTANTI-VS NOB CAES, Bare, bust draped and cuirassed right
    Rev:– FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Soldier spearing fallen horseman, who is bare headed, reaching back towards the emperor (horseman wears Phrygian helmet)
    Minted in Alexandria (//ALED),
    Reference:– RIC VIII Alexandria 81 (C2)

    I only have one (the last, smaller one). There obviously is no keeping up with the FTR specialists. :)

    Very nice addition! I have no Gallus from Alexandria, actually lol. I alway get out bid :)

    Heeeyyy! I finally can post a coin on Martin's cool threads!

    I have a Constantius Gallus Fallen Horseman! ... but... Uh-oh... it is Siscia rather than Alexandria... bummer.
