    Hey everyone,

I have this beautiful Gorgoneion featuring an owl on the reverse. Unfortunately as time goes on there is corrosion forming on both the obverse and reverse - larger section and little nitty gritty spots.

What advice would you offer in trying to remove the corrosion to prevent further damage to the coin in the future? Also, is it possible to remove without damaging the patina?

Thank you in advance! (Please forgive the terrible pictures)

There is a product called Verdi-Care which sometimes works.
