I went to the money machine to withdraw five hundred dollars. I got 25 crisp 2006 twenty dollar bills, all in consecutive dollars. Does this demand a premium? I have no choice but to spend them, but would a dealer give me a premium if I offered to sell them to him?
I don't believe so, It is not difficult to get consecutive numbers of current notes if you really want them.
Walk up to the teller window and ask for a new strap of notes, they should be in consecutive order as well. The SN's if low or containing any fancy repeater, ladder, binary numbers will demand a premium, to the right buyer and dependent upon grade.
What about a consecutive order of 20 dollar bills starting with 15241521 thru 15241529? This includes 15241524 which I know is a repeater. Could the others be considered repeaters also since they have 152 twice?
