Announcement!! --GDJMSP has just passed 5000 posts on CT! This is a great milestone, especially considering the depth and insight of his posts. I hope I learn as much from the next 5000 as I have from the first 5000. Doug, Thanks for your expertise and effort here on CoinTalk I appreciate it. Chris
He must have blisters on his fingers. Yah, 5000 is a bunch and quite a few of them are a learning tool. Thanks, Breeze.
Doug, let me also pay my respects for your efforts here in the fourm. I had begin to ask why the fishing had improved down in that part of the country, and now I know you havent been fishing, but writing. Somehow I also knew that one of you soft spoken devils from Utah would make a name for themselfes in the internet world. Keep up the good work, but take time to show that boy of yours how to float a fly. It's every bit as important as all the posts you have made here on this forum.
Thanks folks - it's been a pleasure And yes OldDan - there IS a fishin trip or two in the works 'Sides - he's pretty good at floatin one already
I think I have read about 4000 of these 5000 but he was posting long before I got on here!..... Thanks for all of the times you have done what your signature line says...shared your knowledge ;--) Speedy
Here's to 5,000 more! GD, Congrats! You have provided me with sound advice and education since I have become a member...and I thank you!
Great work, Doug. Our hobby could use a few more like you. Thanks for all the time and effort. You're truly a credit to numismatics.
Now don't let it go to your head Doug. I don't want to see a bunch of "cheat" posts from you trying to double your count.
Thank you for all you do. I know I've learned a lot from your posts on here and you've helped me out a number of times. Once again, thank you!
You are a gentleman and a scholar. It is also highly unusual these days for anyone to go "on the record" 5,000 times without being sued or going to jail. Congrats!
I also would like to say Thank You to you GD. You have freely givin of your knowledge & shown great paitence in dealing with the same questions over & over from us newbies. You have lead by example, and inspired more than one person to READ, learn & READ. Your passion for numismatics burns quite bright & you are one of the main reasons I read the forum. THANKS for all your work, Dave
Congrats GD! I too have learned a great deal from you and the many others here on CT. Here`s to the next 5000!
Doug.. Although I am rather new to CT..which I find as a very insightful venue/fourm..the posts I have read with your comments have been pretty much right on the mark. I have even gone as far as looking up the reference to some of the replies you have given me and others to find that your knowledge is admirable. Thanks for the experience, comments, and most of all your passion for this hobby, needless to say the feedback to numerous persons on this fourm with the minimum, moderate and significant numismatic experience...Congrats!! cool: RickieB
Congrats! I have benefitted many times from your knowledge and quick responses. But hey! What else is there to do in the middle of Utah anyway
