I know little about notes but bought some civil war currency (Carolina 50c notes) and they sold at three times what I paid, too bad they got lost (USPS). Anyway, thought this $10 was worth a shot, paid about $30. Thought the condition and colour was pretty good. The Canada dollar was $4! lol.
Both notes are very nice. That particular ten confederate note is one of the more collected & common notes of the series. Which means these notes can be obtained in uncirculated condition fairly easy. $30 is a fair price you paid as it appears to be a nice note. There's always a possibility for you to sell it for a big profit if you find the right buyer. That Canadian note is cool, I'd pay $4 for that all day long.
Thanks for the info. McKee coins on I-collector is always worth a look in as their auctions are massive and whilst there is loads of junk you can pick up plenty of good stuff at prices where there is a profit in if you wish to sell. Their shipping is pretty cheap and fast too. I bought two silver pandas at very low prices 1994 5 yuan and 1995 10 yuan at extremely low prices at the same auction.
