Anyone else collect them? I have a small collection consisting of ten notes that I have purchased over the past couple of years. From what I understand, collecting Confederate Notes and memorobilia is a big hobby for some people and the notes have been appreciating quite a bit over the past decade. Here is one of my notes that I purchased from a seller on Ebay for $35 last year. It is an 1864 Confederate $50 note IMO it grades Very Fine. I use Criswell's guide to grade and value my notes. Let's see your Confederate notes and what guidebooks and websites do you use for grading and valuation?

Gopher29,you have to be extremely careful,as there are some very good quality forgeries of some of the scarcer banknotes of the Confederate States of America around.

thanks! unfortunately, whoever was cutting it must've been as blind as a bat. the top of the note suffers from a bad trim.

oh well...crooked cut = big discount!
