CONECA's magazine, ErrorScope's most recent issue(Nov/Dec2010) features an article by Mike Diamond on pages 24-25 titled "A Cud Progression". The article follows the stages of progression of a die break of a 1982 large date, copper Lincoln Memorial cent. Stage 1 in the progression of the CUD, or die break is represented by a coin from the very same die pair as is for sale in this auction.:thumb:
