Well its time to post some Buzzards !!!! Come on, roust the roost !!!!! :foot-mouth: "The Great Horny Buzzard !!!"
Here's a Buzzard and a Turkey: New Orleans Mardi Gras Token 1978 (38mm) FISH and GAME of NORTH AMERICA / WILD TURKEY / 1978 JEFFERSON CITY BUZZARDS / MARDI GRAS / SINCE 1890 / N.O.L.A.
An interesting feature on these buzzards are the "Hammer & Sickel" on the reverse. Many years before the Russian 1917 revolution.
OK, so it looks like a rock !!!! However, upon close inspection one can ID this coin as ancient Celtic Iberian (Spain). Above the bull on the reverse is a BUZZARD the "Raptor de Europa" circa 200 BC. The oldest buzzard, I have. I hope someone can post a much better image of the Raptor de Europa,
Mugshot of Raptor de Europa. Handsome fellow, anyone have the old Celtic coin with this critter on it ??? http://www.flickr.com/photos/35110249@N05/4097793263/ He really reminds me Adeli Stevenson.
