The owner of the coin shop where I got this thought it was a Conder token. Unfortunately one side is mostly worn away and it has a hole, but the other says "To Facilitate Trade" and 1825. Does anyone recognize this?
60 years before Conder Tokens in Britain It is not so worn out to somebody looking for such material. It's a good find, and your photos are nice. I've no idea of its possible value. Surely somebody here will help further. : )
Thanks. I bought it because I'd never seen one and it is almost 200 years old, so for a quarter I couldn't pass it up.
