Is it (and others like it) a private mint issue? It looks legit.... anyone know?
The reason you can't find in your books is because you aren't looking in the right place. The title of that auction is what is throwing you off. It calls the coin a 1999 - it isn't. Look at the coin, it's a 1993. Bet you can find that one in the books.
aahhh yep! there it is. after seeing commems amassed in that giant auction my interest was sparked, and I've been looking for good buys on some now. thanks everyone for the help
