I called a coinstore close to me and they had a 1893 Columbian Expo Halve that was cleaned for 17.50. Should I get it? I cant use Ebay. I dont care about grading even if it is cleaned. Also, can people post pictures of their Columbian Expo Halves? Thanks!

Thanks! I'm not opposed to ebay, just 6 years younger than the required age.

Thats an okay price. I usually only buy them for scrap.. I bought 4 for $10.50 each when silver was about 21X face. I would wait a little bit, but if you'd really want one, go for it. I understand your situtation, have your parent set up an eBay account for you or make one regardless ;)

It all depends on the look of the coin, If it has ugly hairlines from a harsh cleaning I'd look elsewhere. Nice circulated ones aren't hard to find at that price. These I picked up on the bay together for one price of 32 bucks.

I can't remember what I paid for this one or how long it has been since I bought it.

I'd wait a little while longer to see if something better condition or price comes along...
