AncientJoe collection is available to see in website form with excellent write ups on each coin. www.colosseocollection.com
Thanks! For those who have been following my posts over the last several months, you'll recognize many of the coins (although there are a number which have not yet made it into my weekly threads as I've been backlogged). I'll continue posting those and finishing the write ups for the remaining few as well. Let me know if you have any questions, comments, or feedback!
Wonderful! I think it's a really elegant gallery presentation of some of the most beautiful and historic coins in numismatics. Taken together with the engaging writeups, it's fully on par with an experience at one of the great museums.
It's a spectacular site in all regards and is nearly always open in my tabs Your photography is of course superb and the write-ups are very engaging. Thanks for your significant contribution to ancient numismatics!
Hmmm? => not bad, AJ (I was hoping to find a real dawg in the bunch, but apparently your litter is nuthin' but top-notch show-dogs!!) amazing collection
TIFs coins are so gorgeous they make me weep. The first time I saw this site I was nearly a hospital case. I want that Vespasian Pompeii so bad I can taste it. Stunning collection.
You mean Ancient Joe. But TIF's collection is also spectacular - check out the link in her signature.
John I have TIF's page and also colosseocollection pinned to my windows tabs, I look at them at least once a day.
That's it I a going to make a Hunneriffic Collection website in the hopes of getting pinned to someone's search bar. After close examination it appears AJ has the most bad ass coins on the planet. I too would like to taste the Pompeii Toned Gold Coin.
