I only collect US coins, but colorized coins issued by world mints are starting to get my interest. Is there a list of those coins that were issued? I tried google but it did not help. Only looking for official mints, not the fake ones that take coins and add color. THANKS, Russell
No such list exists it would simply be to long. Basically every country has some of them, even the US mint has the basketball one now. Its easier to search for a topic for them or just start browsing world coin listings.
Here's a bunch of Canadian on Ebay and there are 1000's. Just pass over the ones with artificially toned normal coinage. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...eDesc=0&_odkw=colored+canadian+coin&_osacat=0 And here's a lot with 7 of the loonies and toonies: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255131934717?hash=item3b670c5ffd:g:jzcAAOSwF5RhDTjq
Australia does have nice circulating color coins however they are often plucked from circulation so fast that they are almost extinct Here is a list of commemorative 2 dollar coins that I pulled from circulation. http://gxseries.com/numis/australia/australia_commemorative_2_dollar.htm
I was never a fan of colorized coins but found a seller with some nice looking Cuban issues. Here are a few. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=cuba Caribbean Fauna&ct=coin
