    Hi,
please help with values of these. They are rare, so I could not find enough refs on Ebay.
    Both are silver coins:
    1. Colonial Mexico 1782 1 real, F-XF
    2. Peru 1818 VG 2 reales, VG

Your help would be very much appreciated. Friend of mine wants to sell them to me for $75.

I'd prefer that you post pics of the coins if possible, but taking the grades for what you say they are - the 1818 2 reales is worth about $15 in VG. The 1782 1 reale, I'll assume you meant F - VF not XF - is worth about $20.

    $75 is way overpriced :(

thank you for the prompt reply! What if mexico coin is XF condition? It has no grade signs on the slab. I have not seen coins yet, and friend is far from coin collecting...

Even in XF it would only be worth about $35 - $40.
