Colombia 1969 1 Centavo die error

    I was thinking that the no.s 1 9 in the date are doubled but Im going to stick my neck on the line and say it looks overpunched ?? What do you think?

    Scroll down to the comments section of this link, there are the known varieties for your coin. The doubled die and the RPD look similar and you have the coin in hand

    The third and fourth images of the doubled date appear to be the same, and seem to match the OP coin. I believe it is a repunched date and not a doubled die because with that much separation you should see separation on the ribbon above and the left stem for a doubled ie.

    My belief also that it is an RPD, the OP has the coin and some response from them would be nice.

    OP original poster ? yeh ?? Im in the UK crazy different time zones so I bang stuff on here because the replies are so much better than the UK forums and then off to bed I check replies in the morning, not being ignorant just getting some very much required beauty sleep . hahaha
