    hi, i was just wondering, is there a group or anyone that collects 1969 and back lincoln pennies? i have been collecting them for 2 yrs. now and have hundreds. also the new 2009-2010 and 2011 lincoln pennies. i have alot of these also. wish to sell, but do not know if there is a market for these. thanks a million

    Regarding the 1969, these are Copper/Bronze composed. They're worth almost 3-cents a piece. They may command a small premium if listed on eBay because these coins interest Copper "bullion" investors. Personally, I know some collectors (or HOARDERS) that purchase them for 4-cents a piece, but you've gotta be a lucky duck to find a guy like that. Regarding the Lincoln Bicentennial Cents of 2009, these are one-year type coins, so if it's within your budget, you might as well keep 'em. No one can guarantee they'll be worth anything other than their face value anytime soon, but it's certain that they don't command much of a premium quite yet (unless they're still wrapped within the original "first day of release" rolls, which command nice premiums). The new Union Shield cents you can spend... They're plenty of 'em out there and they're still being struck to date. Infact, the series has just begun! :)
