I know; it's the age old question, but are any of these worth anything at all? I can give any more info and/or better pictures/scans.
those are some really nice older world notes. to bad they werent in a little better condition. enjoy:high5:
If you look on the reverse of the Royal Bank of Scotland note, in the grass under the bank on the right, you will see the engravers name, W. H. Egan. It was a bit of a controversy when it was first noticed in the 1960's then quieted down. In the late 1980's the engraver admitted to placing his name in the engraving.
I actually have dozens of the old chinese ones as pictured above. I just picked one or 2 for the pic. These were given to my by my nan. Also that's quite cool scottish money, I think if i had the chance to design a coin/note I'd try and get my name in there somewhere covertly. However I know the designers of coins do have their initials put on at least in the UK and USA anyway.
The RBS and the Dutch notes are in rather nice condition and they have value, not massive value but worth keeping
