    Your Cent was most likely released from a Lucky Cent holder. It altered the edge due to it being forced into the encasement.

    I agree...probably a liberated lucky cent. Finning normally looks a bit different in my experience and more toward the outer rim of the coin, not extending toward the field area. The strike does not appear to be tapered either.
