No, not cuds. Its misplaced reeding on the face instead of the rim. GoTo CT search, enter collar clash to view a half dozen posts about the 'collar clash'

I used an inexpensive FinePix S-3100 W/ macro, 4 M.P. But I photograph thru a Labratory grade microscope.

those are great, I love variety/error coinage. those pictures are so close up I could touch the coins, what camera did you use? did you shoot coins through magnifing glass to get those excellent photos? thanks for sharing, ozark
