Might be the wrong place to post this but just wanted to share.

Last month Coleguy had a silent auction, bidding via PM, on 2 Morgan dollars in the Open section. I was fortunate enough to win the bid on the 1881 S Morgan. I received it today, free shipping and insured. This is by far one of the nicest Morgans I have ever held in my hands. I will try to get a photo of it posted up soon. Very nice cartwheels, very few bag marks, great strike. And, it came in an airtite holder.

Excellent communications with Guy, timely shipping, well packaged. I would highly recommend any future transactions with this gentleman. Thanks Guy for a great Morgan and it will always be in my collection to pass onto my grandchildren.

    Respectfully, Jim.

just curious what it might grade and would it be worth sending in?

I'd guess MS-63 but I can't see it really good in the pics plus I suck at grading silver. As to sending it in, if you plan on keeping it, don't waste your money!

    Ribbit :)

Looks like a nice coin. I agree with toad on the grade.

I agree with 63 and not a candidate for slabbing.
