Might be the wrong place to post this but just wanted to share. Last month Coleguy had a silent auction, bidding via PM, on 2 Morgan dollars in the Open section. I was fortunate enough to win the bid on the 1881 S Morgan. I received it today, free shipping and insured. This is by far one of the nicest Morgans I have ever held in my hands. I will try to get a photo of it posted up soon. Very nice cartwheels, very few bag marks, great strike. And, it came in an airtite holder. Excellent communications with Guy, timely shipping, well packaged. I would highly recommend any future transactions with this gentleman. Thanks Guy for a great Morgan and it will always be in my collection to pass onto my grandchildren. Respectfully, Jim. Here is a picture link to this Morgan.http://medleyguy.tripod.com/id11.html
I'd guess MS-63 but I can't see it really good in the pics plus I suck at grading silver. As to sending it in, if you plan on keeping it, don't waste your money! Ribbit
thanks everyone. especially thanks to Coleguy. The value of a coin is how much you enjoy it....I very much enjoy this one!
