Well I finally moved up to the second page of the War Nickel NGC Registry, which has put me in good company with a few other CTer's(see screen shot)! I realize that Lehigh's set is a dup set, but hey, I'll take what I can get encil: I tried to upload photos of my set to NGC, but they were to large so I hope to have them edited by the end of the week.
That is pretty cool. We are 42, 43, & 44 and within 10 points of each other. Now we need to see some photos of your beautiful nickels. BTW, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that two other CT members are high on the NGC Jefferson War Nickel Registry. Kanga is 13th and cncman is 15th. That gives Cointalk 6 of the top 50 registry sets. Not bad at all.
And with a little bit of luck I may inch up another notch or so when my final coin arrives (today maybe). I don't know how far behind I am. But whatever, this last coin will be the end of it. Don't anticipate upgrading.
And just think. I don't even have one coin in a slab. And any I ever purchased, I cracked open so I could put the coin in an album.

Here's what I have so far. Several of the sets have PCGS coins that are pending comfirmation, so some improvement is expected.
I tried to post the images of my set but wasn't aware of the 120K limit, so I need to edit the images to fit that limit but hopefully should be done this weekend. I wasn't aware that Kanga and CNC were on the list also, and so close to the top, congrats guys. I also picked up another 279 points today and moved to 35th, still need a 1945P and a 1943/2P.
I just got my 45-P and tried entering it. NGC's cert database is not accessable at this time. But apparently I'm in the queue waiting.
Congrats on the 45P Kanga it seems to be kind of a tough coin, can't wait to see it. I assume it's a 67+? I have my eye on a beautiful 43-S NGC MS68* with a great rainbow tone, probably out of my $ range tho.
My 1945-P War nickel in MS-67 finally got entered and my set ended up as #12. That's it. I don't anticipate any upgrades.
