Enough waiting..Round 8 recap: Apparently and easy round, good strong participation and competition ! Halfway home. First, there will be consequences for these actions by members in the group. How dare ya'll presume that you'd be allowed to post adjacent violations of forum conduct. For said violations, I have gone through the remaining queued up samples and have chosen the crappiest pics of the group for the next round.... NOW BEHAVE ! So,, around the 2nd corner the leaders are neck and neck,, ,, down the back stretch.... neck and neck... ,, it's Raider, now Duke, then Raider, now Duke,, stride for stride. ,, OMG, I can't believe it ladies and gentlemen,, this is unheard of.. what am I seeing. ,, it Raider's jocky,,, has leaned over to and poked Duke squarely in both eyes. ,, Dukes down,, Dukes down ! blood pooring out of both eyes,, fingernail jam apparently clogging his vision,, he's dropping back in the pack... omg,,, omg..... ! :loud::loud::loud::loud::loud: :high5: SECOND EXACTA :high5: :loud::loud::loud::loud::loud: ** and in direct violation of CoinTalk's ethical code,, give him a point Doug ! ** CONGRATULATIONS.... ..... RAIDER :high5: NGC grades: 1946D - MS66 > new holder, pretty sunset toning,, actually my favorite type of toning,, casts a spell of sunset on the coin, and the toning pattern is generally not chased by stupid money as readily,, even though imo,, it's nicer than any neon rainbow paint explosion. 1945S - MS66 > standard, dripping white luster merc.... ANACS grades: 1924S - EF45 > Nicely toned coins,, touches of sunset tone. NGC grades: 1946D - MS65 > standard blast white, dripping white luster WL. Observations: I threw the exact same WL's from the same Tpg up as an example to grade these... now it's either tpg variation, or a miss,,, or strike is everything for NGC grading of WL's.... I was once told to approach grading WL's as grading a woman. First - note the face... should be complete, and pretty. Second - glance briefly (don't get caught) at her teets... look for fullness. Third - Check out her feet... nice clean feet say alot about what's in between the last place you looked and her feet... it they are nice, then anything in between is probably nice too. ..... that said, check out those features on the obv of these two coins... and you can see a difference in detail and strike that is readily apparent,, at least to me. Same strike deltas on the reverse,, however the 66 does have harder hits on the eagle than the 65,,, but not as many little hits, and much more detail. :loud: CONGRATULATIONS RAIDER !!..... this will increase you lead... but can you make turn 3 and turn 4 in stride,,,, or will someone from the pack sling snot in your eyes before you make the home stretch.....
