I'll only rank those who played in the last round.

Six more players have exceeded the 10 grades mark, so had thier lowest grade dropped... Every 11th grade you get to drop your lowest.
    Abe:hail: - drops lowest
    Shoe:hail: - drops lowest
    RLM's:hail: - drops lowest
    MPCUSA:hail: - drops lowest
    BadThad:hail: - drops lowest
    Duke:hail: - drops lowest
    * Next set of drops at 20... I think everyone will get there in this set, so we'll all have our two lowest dropped next week.

Rankings (points reflect average points off pcgs grades):
    GOLD - MPCUSA. - 2.86 (didn't grade the 22 last week,, sneeky):kewl:
    SILVER - Duke - 3.00
BRONZE - Rlm's cent - 3.31 (.. breaking to the front near the halfway point) OUTSTANDING round 4 :hammer:
    4th - BadThad - 3.88
    5th - Mark_H - 4.11
    6th - Mikenoodle - 4.35
    7th - Abe - 4.44
    8th - Shoe - 4.85
** Mark_H and Mikenoodle have offered a grade for every coin posted, some of which were hard on thier score...... I'll probably normalize the ranks at the end to provide more equity for this. Maybe just score based on coins which where graded by all... or other method. We'll cross that bridge later.. just wanted to note it. I think they are around 4 coins deeper than the rest of this group, so should be easy to normalize.

    And now....

Here is the next set: All are PCGS graded. Theme is color.. we won't score by it, but offer it up along with your grades anyway and lets see how we do.

    Round 5 recap:

    PCGS grades -
    66 - MS65 SMS
    24 - MS64 BN
    29S - MS63 RD
    54S - MS65 RD
    72 DD - MS64 RD
    31D - MS64 RB

    Per request, my opinions:
Theme was color. My observation of diffused lite pictures is that it tends to make cents appear abit more red than in hand. Although in this set, the RB's do appear very very close to RD, and the BN does appear to be RB in hand. Which brings up another observation regarding the TPG,, PCGS can be very hard on color.

66 - Standard 65 SMS, nice, nothing special. I probably would have been around 66.
24 - Head scratcher... appears RB in hand imo, although the Red is somewhat dulled and not what I'd call mint red. Nice toning.
29s - A candidate for an easy upgrade IMO. Must have been downgraded by the tpg for the tick by the mouth and the minor rb'ish stain behind the head.
54s - cooool coin. half yellow and half red tone, very pretty. Would be a bombshell if it wasn't for the gash and other hits on Abe's head.
72dd - old holder, solid coin.
31d - Another one that could easily go RD from another tpg imo,, and maybe warranted. I'd guess 85-90% RD and the B ain't very B,, more RB, and most of the RB is Redish.... oh well... there were a few of you who read it well.

Awards for this set of cents:
    Best - A few tied this round - .83 (RLM's, Shoe, Duke)
    HA - Louie_two_bits - 1.67 - see what cutting class gets you. ;)

Color winner - Mikenoodle - Only one to see B in the 24.. and only one to see B in the 31D... and btw,, the only one to see B in the 72 (which twas'nt there)... But well done ! Reading B in RB's under diffused light is tough,,, worth expending another round with color as the theme.

    Now on to round 6.
We'll do six cents in round 6.
Theme will be color (again), but will still be scored by grading offered.
