CoinTalk Member's Find Featured In Error Scope

    I received the latest issue of Error Scope (CONECA's bimonthly magazine) today. I opened the magazine and the first article - with large photos that I instantly recognized - was about a 1999 double-denomination Georgia Statehood Quarter struck on a nickel. This coin was discussed at length on CoinTalk here:

    He was selling it on eBay, wonder if he got any decent "Make Offers" to learn a ballpark value of it. :)

    It's great to find something unique and have it acknowledged in a reputable periodical. Nice going.

    I JUST noticed this thread. Thank you all. It was an amazing find, and I certainly didn't expect to be offered $5,500 for it. I couldn't really turn that down.
