Coinstar Rejects.

It's amazing what you find in the reject bin, and piled in and around the coinstar machine. I find Foreign coins all the time, Us coins people manage not to all get in the machine.

Best find was a 1918 P mint wheat cent! Fairly good condition too!

I have found several foreign coins in Coinstar machines, plus a few tokens.

 

How do you find these coins in CoinStar machines? Do you have a key to open them? Where is the reject bin?

 

The reject bin is down bellow and open to all. Its the coins the machine rejects for some reason.

Often times people leave the buckets and bags piled atop the machine. I always riffle thru them. And find quite a few things.

Mexcan Pesos
Canadaian Money
British Money
pre Euro irish money
And even some US money.

 

Man, sweet finds! I'll have to start searching some of those machines. That is, when I find one. Lol, nice finds. :thumb:

i've never found anything looking in the reject bin. i'd like to be the guy that emties the coins out though!

 

When I go by one, I allway's look in the reject bin..Almost always find something.

 

It's getting more and more common to find Mexican coins in the Coinstar..... I have a handfull of them now
