The 2005 film "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" features a United States Peace silver dollar. The Wonka Candy Factory runs a contest where five "Golden Tickets" are hidden in five candy bars, the winners will receive a tour of the factory and other prizes. Charlie, a poor boy living with his parents and grandparents, hopes to win one of the tickets. His grandfather gives him a silver coin which he uses to buy a candy bar; it has no prize ticket. He then finds a paper note, buys another candy bar; this one contains a winning ticket. He joins the other winners on a tour of the magical factory. The film starred Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka, David Kelly as Grandpa Joe, and Freddie Highmore as Charlie. It was produced by Warner Bros Productions. The writers were Roald Dahl and John August, the director was Tim Burton. It was based on the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. The film was originally made in 1971 as "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". The director was Mel Stuart and Gene Wilder starred as Willy Wonka.
