Coins ID and Clean

Hello. I have some silver for ID. Who is this fellow on coin? Have also some green stuff attach on coin. How to clean that on silver withaout harmless the coin?

Gallienus, Septimius Severus, Maximinus Thrax

 

The second coin is Sep Severus and the third looks like it might be Maximinus Thrax

p.s. How to clean green on silver coin?

 

The Gallienus (first coin) is not pure silver and has a LOT of copper in it. Mechanical cleaning will scratch the coin. A MILD acid (dilute vinegar or dilute lemon juice) is the best but slow approach. An acid will eat at the large amount of copper in the coin so a slow process with close monitoring is best, scraping with wooden toothpicks as you go to avoid scratching the surface.
