I live in a rural area and get most of my coins through the mail. Today, the Post Office Lady( a train collector) handed me a bag of coins as a "thank you" for an old train set I had given her. This was in the bag:

    $1 siver certificate 1957 crisp!
    1889 S dollar
    1902 half
    1951 quarter
    1903 O dime
    1904 dime
    1906 dime
    1913 dime
    1914 dime
    1914 D dime
    1942 dime
    1946 D dime
    1903 nickle
    1901 nickle
    1912 D nickle
    1936 D nickle
    1893 IHC
    1908 IHC
    1907 IHC
and two wheats. What a mail lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky. Do you think this is a post office thing, or was it the woman's coins?

The coins were hers, personally. The train was an N guage set, not old. I have several 1970's sets, will give her another one. lol

Hornby train sets from England are very desireable items. If you want to sell those, you'd be better off putting them up on eBay,then that way,you will get some money to buy more coins.
